Born in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, Lucy now lives between West London and Cornwall.

A professional cook for 15 years, working in Switzerland and Ireland then finally the City, Lucy’s family life took centre stage until 2009 when she enrolled at The Heatherley's School of Fine Art.

Her work is now found in collections in the UK, Europe and USA.

Lucy’s artistic journey lies with Printmaking and Painting, where the boundaries sometimes blur into each other. The interplay of light and shadow the main source of inspiration in both mediums of her works.

The current body of work is an exploration of all things found in the natural world - trees, seashells, mushrooms. It is a visual journey into life beyond the world’s struggles and finding joy in the small things. Having spent years painting the more depressing side of life, Lucy is now doing the opposite, with a view to study the intricacies of botanical health through painting and using various print techniques such as lino, screen printing and mixed media.
